Size is no guarantee of strength. 2 of my absolute heroes and insprations (as a vertically challenged kid). Even the refs are taller than 2 of the best centre forwards ever.

It's all about the team but a leader like the late JB (Jon Bowerman) added an inch or two to every member of every team...

Read this as a kid and really connected with Daley's mentality. He then went on to prove it, again and again, raising his own bar, knocking out PB's and breaking world records to beat the field.

Spent some time with Maj Gen. Chris Chika and the team in the Duke of Wellington's crib :) The army has some incredibly exciting non-frontline careers - with amazing digital toys. Getting them out is one of my big challenges for 2021/22. 'Oi Chris... a change is gonna come...!'

'Slenky collaborated with Sony Professional, the British Film Institute and Creative Skillset to empower young people with an eye on the film industry to gain real industry skills by producing a short film - ‘Outsiders’. Some great success stories of careers that springboarded from it.

This was a groundbreaking magazine launched in the early 00's by the talented Paul Boateng, long before the UK seemed to understand that talent doesn't have a colour. I contributed a few articles.
